Dear Friends of Better Transit in Queens,      The next meeting of the Regional Rail Working Group - Rockaway Subcommittee will be held on Monday, November 24, 2003 at 7:30PM  at the Emanuel United Church of Christ  located at 93-12 91st Avenue (at Woodhaven Blvd.) Woodhaven, Queens New York. Carl Perrera, Regional Rail Working Group - Rockaway Subcommittee Coordinator Directions to meeting: "A" Subway Line to the Rockaway Blvd. Station.   Get out at the Cross Bay Blvd. \/ Liberty Avenue exit located in the rear two subway cars on Far Rockaway \/ Lefferts Blvd. bound "A" trains and the first two cars on Manhattan bound "A" trains.    Walk across Woodhaven Blvd. to the opposite side of Woodhaven Blvd. near the OTB.  Transfer to a northbound Q-11 bus and get off at 91st Avenue \/ Woodhaven Blvd. stop (one block north of Atlantic Avenue). Walk approximately 100 feet east along 91st Avenue to locate the entrance to the church hall. "J" Subway Line to the Woodhaven Blvd. Station.   Get out at the Woodhaven Blvd. / Jamaica Avenue exit.   Transfer to a southbound Q-11 bus at Woodhaven Blvd. and get off at 91st Avenue / Woodhaven Blvd. stop. (about only two stops).  Walk across to the opposite side of  Woodhaven Blvd. to the church then walk approximately 100 feet east along 91st Avenue to locate the entrance to the church hall. "N or R" Subway Line to the Woodhaven Blvd. Station.   Get out at the Woodhaven Blvd. \/ Queens Blvd. exit of that station and turn to your left at the token booth.   Then walk along a long corridor to the further  (second) exit which would let you out at Queens Blvd. \/ Woodhaven Blvd. (Do not turn left to this first exit in that corridor since that would place you on the North side of Woodhaven Blvd. rather than the South side of Woodhaven Blvd.)  Walk a short distance across a small street (Hoffman Drive). Transfer to a southbound Q-11 bus at Woodhaven Blvd. and get off at 91st Avenue / Woodhaven Blvd. stop. (about only two miles or two stops after you see the Jamaica Avenue Elevated Line).  Walk across to the opposite side of  Woodhaven Blvd. to the church then walk approximately 100 feet east along 91st Avenue to locate the entrance to the church hall.
