The Good Government Regular Democratic Club is having Honorable Borough
President - Helen Marshall as a guest speaker. She is expected to discuss
transportation issues in Southern Queens including the Rockaway Line.
All members of the Regional Rail Working Group (RRWG) and the RRWG –
Rockaway Subcommittee should try to attend this upcoming meeting to show support
for the reactivation of the LIRR Rockaway Beach Line as well as to ask and
answer questions.
This is an opportunity to get the Borough President to support our goals
for better transportation in South Queens and in the Tri-State Area.

Directions to the
meeting by public transportation:
Take the "A" train to the Broad Channel Station and switch to the Rockaway Park Shuttle train. Take the Shuttle train to the Beach 116th Street Station. Walk north along Beach 116th Street to Beach Channel Drive. Walk west along Beach Channel Drive to 112-20 Beach Channel Drive and cross over to the north side of the street (opposite the Waldbaum’s parking lot).
